I always loved this moment. It came from Vos, one of the only guys who ever consistently refused to "walk on Greggshells."

That is another aggravating Opie thing. He takes these phone calls to praise his lines because he's so needy and desperate to justify his position.

I think this was a big reason why things like Line of the Day didn't last (Opie wasn't picked "enough") and why Bombs and Flubs was cut off even though it was a great bit. Opie was always chosen to have the least bombs and the fewest flubs, but his Greggshells couldn't take even the mildest razzing so away it went. Opie would be featured twice, Ant and Jimmy 10 times, we all know that isn't a true representation of how much Opie bombs and flubs but even 2 or 3 was too much for him to handle.

Ugh that first one is soooo cringe-inducing.
