Things You Will Never Ever Hear O&A/O&J Fans Say

  • I wish Jim Norton would talk more about the Burj Khalifa.

  • I wish Opie would really elaborate on how many cabinets there are in his new house.

"I'll have the salad."

"I absolutely cannot have another drink, I've had far too much as it is."

"Opie raised an interesting point today...."

"Does this shirt come in Medium?"

"The test results came back negative."

"Certainly, officer, look around in my crawlspace, I've got nothing to hide."

"Does this shirt come in Medium?"

oh fuck

Jim's standup is funnier than random shit he says on the radio..

His latest special was pretty solid.

I see what you did there

"Jim's bit about the ground zero mosque is still relevant, I'm glad it's still part of his act"

"I'm happy with my life"

I think this is the one (myself included)

"i really like the new direction the show is heading"

"holy shit opie just made me piss my pants"

"Joe DeRosa is a friend of the jews."

More people should listen to Brother Joe's show

Similarly, more people should listen to Brother Wease.

I wish Opie would interrupt the flow of show more often, he usually chimes in with some radio gold....

"Don't you just love the way Opie alliterates words in wacky and fun ways?"

"I'm sorry, but you're underage. We have to stop."

Opie had me howling with his Philly Crew stories.

"The show was hilarious today."

"Wow Opie really did grow up poor". "Jim doesn't do enough sex and aids jokes". "Opie really does know a lot about sports".

"Anthony Cumia was an anchor holding the show down creatively, Opie and Jim is clearly a superior product."

---management---

"I think Opie underuses sound effects"

"I love hearing people I pay to entertain me complain about their allergies/illness of the week and nagging with no comedic payoff. It really relates to me as a listener and therefore is the great radio I love."

"Anthony deserved to be fired."

"Patrice sucked."

It was not a long ago when O&A fans would relentlessly attack anyone criticizing Opie, now you would never hear anyone defending him.

When the Village Voice wrote about the cake-stomping incident, 90% of the comments were along the lines of "YOU PC CUNTS DON'T UNDERSTAND COMEDY!!" Two years later, they're on reddit with "TITS_SUCKS" type usernames.

It's a little different to defend someone's right to stomp on a cake in the name of comedy.

I'll defend the cake stomp any time, any place, any where, brother.

On principle, you could probably make a decent argument in it's defense. But that was more a swipe at the hordes of Ant fanboys that post these inane "TORPID SLOTH SUCKS B/C HE'S SO _______" threads umpteen times a day, who apparently never noticed his shortcomings till July 2014.

That Bruce Jenner discussion really opened my eyes to the issues facing the transgender community.

"you're not 18 yet. this isn't right."

"i love you too"

I wonder what funny shit Opie and his kids were upto since the last show!

"Lynsi obviously loves Opie for who he is, it has nothing to do with his bank account."

  • I hope Jimmy talks about freedom of speech and privacy invasion today!

"MORE DAD TALK?! YES!"

And "Roland sure is looking slim these days."

Roland/sam should be on the show more I mostly listen for the guys expert opinions on current events and politics. O&J > TACS

I'm loving the new direction of the show!

I usually listen to the show for entertainment news and then I switch over to Todd and Jayde in the Morning for some laughs.....

"The show needs more Roland!"

Opie really did learn from the best

"Denny Falcone can't suck his own dick."

I hope Jimmy mentions that we shouldn't have bases in Germany and South Korea like he's an expert in foreign affairs.

No African American friend, I do not wish for you to have sex with my wife and/or girlfriend while I watch.

My favorite documentaries? Umm, Dear Zachary, Man on Wire and Women Aren't Funny

"I can really relate to Anthony when he talks about taxes"

/r/tacsdiscussion would like to have a word with you.

"I enjoy taking in a wide range of perspectives before coming to conclusions on issues that plague this world, such as political corruption in racism."

"I don't eat black people on my lunch break."
