In Penn & Teller's bullshit show, they had an episode where they discussed political correctness or something about freedom of speech, and they had discussed Club Soda Kenny having been fired for doing standup. His picture was shown in the show as well.
He was suspended, and the department pursued firing him and taking away pension/unused vacation. He did the administrative equivalent of a plea bargain and agreed to retire (and keep those benefits).
I think this might be a well known thing amongst o&a fans, but yeah thats such bull shit. They actually played the his set live on o&a at one point which may have been the exposure that caused him to be fired
yeah i dont think it was ever mentioned on the show. hey! maybe they felt partial responsibility because kenny was fired as a result of them playing the audio on their show and thats why they kept that fool onboard for so many years. or maybe hes just a fantastic hotel booker.
It wasn't NYPD, it was West Orange, NJ. And he was an internal affairs detective, which meant he made enemies - one of them anonymously sent in a tape of him doing stand-up (not using his actual name or identifying as a police officer) which led to administrative action against him. What BS.
(My favorite CSK joke: "I was taking a bath with my five-year-old son, and he asked 'Daddy, why is your penis different than mine?' and I said 'because I have an erection'")
I had no idea he was internal affairs. The way he defends cops in every single news story where they kill someone I wouldn't think he was. Not that I really know anything about internal affairs or what they really do I just thought I mean I assumed I mean I said I'm alright spider
Yeah, listening to all his "we tune up perps for kicks" stories dont dovetail with the abusive police we have today. Fuck Kenny, he was a shitty, racist, dirty cop and now he just supports them.
Don't forget this story! The one story that always stuck with me is when he told the story about all the dirty cops in the department would shake down drug dealers and then the cops would roll up bags
Of Coke and stuff them into their shotgun barrels to hide them!
Kind of makes me wonder who is Still sitting in prison from back then because they were set up or had drugs planted on them?
Well Fuck A Duck! I did not know that. This was actually interesting. Kind of like Ant's ex wife's attorney. I'm not being a smart ass, this really is the first time I've heard that.
Yeah, its amazing. He is the poster child for bad cops protecting other bad cops. He is one of many reasons I will never, ever trust the police. I was searching for that "shittums" term (by which he means black BTW), he always bragged about beating up "shittums" for no reason. Any decent force is better off without him, hes a bad cop and covers for other bad cops.
i get he's jim's PA on the road but the rest seems redundant? Sirius have building security and interns for that shit surely? No wonder he's so happy go lucky. What a easy job to have on top of a good pension.
Yeah, but I can only imagine some of the stupid shit outside of the normal perimeters that he's been asked to do by Opie! And this isn't me trying to bash Opie at any chance. This is my thinking in light of what Keith said about Opie. Due to his delusions and desire to be an A-Lister, I'm sure he's requested Kenny do something where Kenny had to think What the fuck is he talking about?
Not only does Kenny do all that shit for Norton & Opie, but he also owns his own executive protection (EP)Company.
Kenny & Keith Both run their own EP Company which surprises me. It seems like it would be almost impossible to have a company for that business when One of Keith's clients, Anthony and and Two of csk's clients, Opie & Jim
Seem to require 100% of their time.
Yeah, but on the road Sirius isn't providing security and if they did, those guys wouldn't want to pick up Opie and Jim's dry cleaning or clean 2 sets of male cum off of Jim's back seat after a night of fun.
I think it's more disturbing finding out that he was Internal Affairs when he believes that the only wrong doing a cop is capable of is ratting out another officer.
He def got in trouble for it but he didnt lose his job. I love Kenny and always thought he was funny but he didnt lose his job for O and A. He served his 25
All I remember about that is he was with the East Orange P.D.
They did try to fire him for his standup. Kind of like Conduct Unbecoming. He almost lost his pension, but he never alluded to his day job and he used an alias so there was nothing they could get him on and he retired with full honors.
You are correct about East Orange, but Kenny was in West Orange. Few people need to know the difference, but it is vast my friend. Vast. West Orange is somewhere people WANT to live, East Orange is somewhere people HAVE to live, like the south Bronx in the 80s.
Do we really need to know the difference? It's a fucking busing with Police Officers somewhere in NJ. He worked as a cop for X amount of years and then he retired. What does geography have to do with it?
West Orange only has a population of 46,000 qhy do they have a pd in the first place?
I've always found that strange about the states that you don't just have one pd for every state
He wasn't a regular cop. He was one of those internal investigation cops. The story is once the tape was discovered someone narcd on him and got him fired.
I don't know if you're serious, but if so, then this is why cops don't like IA. Cops have a strong brotherhood (Obviously), and I'm sure you've heard the whe band of brothers and thin blue line stuff.
Internal Affairs police the police and run all internal investigations and look into all coma I take and accusations on cops, and they have no loyalty! They would arrest and fire their own mother if she was a Cop and feel good about it. They wear wires on cops and use their partners against them. And a lot of time, IA recruits new members straight out of that Departments Police Academy! But alit if times that's not known until they bust you.

The scariest thing is that he was in charge of busting bad cops, yet he has tons of stories of him (a guy in a movie) beating "shittums" up.
1 OOOGGGAAAHHH 2015-05-06

I think cops use Shittums to describe any perp, but yeah, he's not the best person to defend cops.

What does he actually do at Sirius though? Is he just Opies driver? As if that needs to be a thing?
