What is the general reason this sub gives for continuing to listen to the O&J show?

Why do so many of you continue to listen if you don't like a major contributor to the program? A lot of you clearly listen every day to the new show, and also painstakingly go through old shows looking for bits where Opie "lied" or "ruined a bit" and get upset.

I'm having a really hard time grasping why you would seek out and consume content that displeases you so much with so many options.

Personally, I could take or leave Opie, he doesn't really bother me. I'm a huge Jimmy fan, and like a lot of the comics so I continue to listen.

I can almost understand the political reasons (he didn't try to save Ant, etc.) but I can't see us ever knowing all facts with what happened.

It's spending valuable time listening to a product you don't like that many of us can't fathom.

(Sorry if this has been discussed before, and I expect to be furiously downvoted).

How many people do still listen? The listening threads are pretty dead.

Thanks for taking the time to bravely speak your mind from a throw away account.

There's no reason not to listen if you're a fan of Jim Norton and the recurring comics.

The show might suck if you're sitting around listening live for 3 hours with commercials, but you'd have to be an idiot not to have figured out on-demand by now, and skipping around whatever parts you don't enjoy.
