Dopie Opie sounds like something a 2nd grader would say. I don't think just "Dopie" is that bad though if you take the history of its use out of it. It's certainly true, and it's simple.
Anthony was clearly trying to push his buttons; just some continuous jabs to get him back for something. You could hear it in Opie's voice and the way he paused that he was about to erupt with each passing comment.
I'm not so sure that this is a Greggshell moment (i.e. Grapes and Leave It Alone) so much as it is just Ant being a dick or picking the wrong time to do something.
You're right about Ant can't handle serious moments, but I wonder if Ant was just trying to do the fans a favor and attempt to steer the subject away from more of Opie's high pitched whiny ass pussy bullshit? Knowing what we know now, I'm sure that wasn't the first or even second time that day where Opie had to bitch and complain about something and drag the mood of everyone else with him.
Just an observation. The only proof Opie had that the Bam rumor wasn't true was Lynsi saying "They're all lies I tell you!" I'm not saying she did hook up with Bam but is it really that far fetched to believe that an average chuckle slut who's about to marry the Bank Account of her dreams, would lie to her fiancé and future Cash Cow about a meaningless fuck out of fear he would call off the wedding?
For example, if I was engaged to the same girl for Let's say for
5 years and I'm totally in love with her, then all of a sudden while at a bar I run into a guy who saw my fiancé but didn't know we were together and proceeded to tell me a story about him or a friend of his fucking my fiancé at a party basically 3 years before I met her. I wouldn't call him a liar because her and I didn't know each other at the time so it's not like she cheated on me, and mostly because I wouldn't want to look stupid for defending her and then finding out later that her most shameful secret is that she used to be a total fuck toy back in the day. Even though I'm in love with her and she's in love with me and we're going to get married, the fact remains that I don't completely trust Any woman!
I know some people get pissed when we bring up Lynsi, but the fact remains that Opie's the one who chose to make her a public figure.
Opie basically went on air and said "I am 100% sure she never had sex with him before we knew each other."
Reporter: How can you be sure? ME: Well, Um...She told me!
well of course his nubs ass believes her. she probably fucked most of the jackass crew and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a video at one point but Opie paid to make it go away - /s (speculation)

"What really is pissing me the fuck off is this:"
"The picture?"
Opie doesn't like calling attention to that.

They both had points.
Ant can't handle serious moments.
Opie is a fag who treats everyone like shit.

Ant basically said as much on the Greggshells show - he wanted to stop the daily management/studio bitching but Opie kept doing it.

The end of the this clip is the best part.
The dead silence in the room because he stranded himself with his emotional pissy eye tirade, and refusing any levity.
Answers his cellphone, it's lindsey telling him to calm his tits down
Gulp Burp
