its from February. It really shows the down-side to having a subscription podcast. If you do something potentially interesting no one can hear it except the people who are already paying.
And, since he's on the road, a free podcast would be huge promotion for his stand-up gigs. As well as he can squeezing in live podcasts as an extra gig which many other podcasts that are less talented than him are doing.
i dont think he need promotion for his stand up gigs he seems to sell out most of his shows... seems like he just needs the money since he's obviously back doing heroin or at very least pain killers, i just saw he has his toms river NJ house listed for sale also.. poor artie man
Well he could always play bigger places. So if he's selling out comedy clubs, maybe a free podcast is the difference between a club to a theater. If he's playing theaters maybe it's a difference between 1 night or multiple nights.
All I know is that there is zero buzz on the podcast he's doing now everyday.
He is not wrong. His life seem to fucking suck. He had mad cash back in the day and the potential to have a steady rich life, get a trophy wife and sit back without ever working again. He just wasted it all on drugs.
Never cared for him. Aside from some fucked up stories, all of his comedy reminds me of the title of his movie: Beer league.
What's more depressing and white trash than playing shitty baseball with fat ham and egger 40 somethings who are trying to get away from their wives. The field of a beer league sounds a lot like a man cave.
