It's not a throwaway I just keep deleting usernames trying to stay away and do more productive things and be a producer of content and not a consumer but I just can't stay away from this terrible place and you terrible people.

This is very true but then on the other side of the equation you've got the one video in a hundred that could legitimately respond to the initial request of the many videos from way back. All forgetting the tendency with these things to be overblown to a reasonable degree while the one video remains at large (unspoken trends). In fact if the media would present video evidence for the indicated sticking point you might be required to then claim smokescreen tactics being used to obscure the standard operating procedure with regards to the editing and distribution of the videos you make reference to.
