Then when cop stories come up in a different context, Kenny usually has "a friend who was a cop" story where the cop clearly abuses his power and authority. I think Kenny's philosophy is summed up when he recently said, "There are two types of people in this world - those who don't know...and cops." How's that for black or white thinking?

I think his observation was more that Kenny is always protective of officers, no matter the circumstance and that lately Opie and Jimmy have gone in that direction. I don't think he's wrong in that the majority of cops do the right thing. The issue is that the ones that don't aren't penalized. Some are, sure, but not all by any means. One of the major contributing factor to this is the "brotherhood" where shitty, dirty cops are basically protected by other cops. All that does is make the good ones assholes.

People on facebook are making the comparisons to "white" riots and how they don't get nearly the same press or media coverage.
