People aren't going to watch Jimmy's special because they don't have Epix. Less than 1/5 of homes that have cable (56 million as of 2014) also have the Epix channel, and cable is dying in general.

To be fair his special will be purchased by Netflix and I assume that's where most people watch it anyway.
