It's not fair to compare the shows for two reasons: 1) SXM refuses to share actual listener numbers for particular shows and; 2) SXM is baked in to cars - creating a natural pool of listeners - TACS needs to be deliberately found.
That being said, I'm sure TACS is healthy. There is no way that Anthony would be hiring staff, expanding to NYC and developing an app if the show were floundering.
His site's traffic had a spike from nothing when he launched TACS, then nosedived, then he had a small spike again with his latest whoring for subs by whining about Opie, then back down to 20k/mo hits. Average user stays about 2 minutes. Based on this, his unique user stats are too embarrassing for him to admit. tl;dr: TACS is failing.
Ok so he had 340000 total hits to the site in February (the lowest month of TACS) and 27.9k uniques (way to round down from that btw). Let's say there are 15k subscribers each visiting 20 times (a high estimate since there are only 15-16 shows in a month). That accounts for 300,000 total views and leaves the other 13k uniques to make up the remaining 40k views, or 3 views a month each (which actually seems kind of high for a non subscriber). Does that math sound reasonable? That puts him at 15k subscribers in the weakest month of TACS. At 7 bucks a sub TACS would be clearing over 100 grand a month. Sounds pretty successful to me.
Way to quote my bare minimum figure as if it were THE figure. But yeah, assume Keith gets 80k, rat makes 50k, Stinky makes 30k and bandwidth costs 20k, I'd bet Cumia still makes twice as much as you.
And thats with bare minimum subscriber numbers and probably slightly high salaries.
