Anyone listen to the show or podcasts at work? Where do you work?

I'm thinking about a career change...

I know a lot of the listeners are truckers, but what other jobs allow you to listen to the radio or podcasts?

I work in an office doing data entry. It's really mundane work, but I like it because I can listen to the shows/podcasts for 8 hours a day without interruptions.

Work in an office on the west coast. Listen to both shows. O&J before lunch and Tacs right after.

I honestly think both are equally as good for different reasons. O&J for the guests and other personalities. TACS because listening to an angry wop complain is always entertaining. Especially when they use their hands (palms up) and shrug their shoulders up when talking.

I've stocked shelves at a grocery store on the night shift and you could wear headphones, on construction sites theres always a radio, office cleaning jobs, theres box truck delivery jobs where you don't need a cdl, pilot car driver, road worker, some warehouses etc etc etc

Numerous professional office and creative jobs where you could get away with listening to radio or headphones.

I'm not allowed to listen to anything at work. I have a boring office job that requires moderate phone work. However, technology has made it so much easier. I picked up a cheap pair of wireless black earbuds that I can run under my my hair. Between my long black hair and a large pair of hoop earrings no one can even tell. I wear the small side in my left ear and then run the other side across the back of my neck and wrap it around my bra strap. When someone speaks to me I can discreetly pause it by placing my hand on my chest.

A man with long hair that wears a bra?

Big Jay Oakerson.

one that just came home from the hospital today from having a hysterectomy. I'm a dickless, womb-less wonder.

Night shift supervisor at a factory. We work 12 hour shifts so I have plenty of time for podcasts, radio shows and audio books.

In a workshop with a bunch of middle aged regular Joes, we weren't allowed to use headphones so I had to skip a few bits like the one where they listen to the recording of the judge beating his daughter or gangsta fag.

I couldn't imagine listening to Opie and Anthony on speakers around co-workers. Not even for the vulgarity, I'd just be too embarrassed.

I totally get what you're saying. I wonder if I would be as into radio shows and podcasts if I actually had a social life worth mentioning. I know a lot of people listen at work or during their commute, but I have neither of those things so I mostly listen during my free time. In a way its a substitute for actual friends. Don't worry I know exactly how that sounds.

Our workshop had semi isolated bays so everyone could pretty much listen to there own thing, so it wasn't like I was blasting it for everyone to hear. But yeah if my supervisors came into my bay theyd be able to hear it and id have to casually turn it down, or pause it.

I'm a retail store manager, Throw my headphones on and sit in my office all day. When I was in the Air Force I'd get yelled at on a weekly basis for listening to them in my section.

I listened while stocking shelves overnight at a grocery store back in "the day." Those were not the best of times lulz, but the show really helped
