Truth of the matter is Ant is way too lazy and not creative (anymore) or does not have the desire to be creative. he is old (which is not a deal breaker ) drunk and lazy (which are) Ant is more cocerned with living a fairytale life of booze and under age girls than he is in being funny, creative and a the visionary force behind a brand.
Ant worked on O and A because he was the stoner from high school that always cut class but was fucking hysterical and had great insight and made everyone laff and laff (when he had others to bounce shit off of)
Now putting that stoner kid who cut class in the seat of authority, decision making and initiative spear-heading. Ant is not that guy, never has been that guy and never will be that guy. Which is ok...to an extent.
But for this all to work he would then have to realize that in himself and hire a competent show runner/producer who is not a friend and actually knows shit in the entertainment industry and does things the proper way. Instead, since Ant lacks any type of backbone, he has his long time man servant/buddy who use to drive Opie to work as a side job and is a retired cop. Brilliant choice. All this guy has done is make ant and the show look completely amateur and bafoonish. All of his bull shit he has put out there with no regards to Ant, lol hysterical.
They have Rat as the "director" of the show? I suspect they don't even pay him since Rat hosts his own website, give ben a job.com, so this is just place filler for him until he gets something that pays.
So anthony charges for subs, gets ad dollars AND does not have a proper paid staff. he has a kid out of college working for free as the director. This is supposed to be the guys who were just under Stern. Pathetic.

Since he's been on SXM, and even going back to WNEW, everything's come pretty easy to Ant... he's naturally very funny, he's quick, he's great on the radio. He could just show up, be funny, go home and that's it.
But, now that he's got to do a LOT of work to keep it all afloat - to keep himself afloat - now it's not coming as easy as it used to, and it's starting to show.
