Yeah, these posts by the same people are all a little too obvious. Whether they've always disliked any or recently encouraged by opie, it's hard for them to gain any ground with vague references to ant losing the radio war, people turning on him, things that he's done in the past. None of them stand to logic.

This place went months and months filled with Opie bashing BEFORE Ant got fired. The few threads that would defend him would always start with "Look, I know he sucks BUT". Then, after Ant was fired, this place has been fire and brimstone for ol' Spuds Buckley. But now you're telling me there's an outpouring of support for saggy tits mcgee?

i'm all for criticizing ant, there's plenty to look at if you're honest. but what you and others are saying right now doesn't seem very genuine to me.

the things you can really nail opie on are there for all to see. the things people are trying to nail ant on are just kind of meh. doesn't sway me. he's no idol of mine, but you need better points to sabotage his character.

Why would there suddenly be Anthony hate the very second he proved that Opie had been lying to the fans about fighting for him and in fact viewed the firing as a blessed opportunity to rid himself of his partner?

of course, because he's wrong. if he could build a case for thinking that, then fine. but he was always just a knee jerk buffoon.

whereas, now, looking at the evidence it very clearly appears to be just a handful of people pulling for opie in light of the greggshells thing. nothing could be shown as proof that it comes DIRECTLY from opie, but certainly sympathizers of some sort.

Maybe not you specifically, but look around, there is definitely something going on. This place went MONTHS without pro-opie threads, now all of a sudden we're being flooded with them.

A lot of the Pro-Opie threads aren't really pro-Opie. They are just people realizing both sides fucking suck.

As silly as the Bam thing is, there's actually proof of the lobster girl thing. Both of their reactions- Opie and Anthony- were completely embarrassing when these situations came to light.
