So...do you think Ant has put just a LITTLE too much interest in reddit?

There's a difference between self-aware and obsessively reading reddit/twitter about you, right? And damaging professional relationships in the process?
Eh, call me crazy.

This place supports and encourages his feelings towards Opie the same way niggermania.com intensifies his feelings towards blacks.

you think this is new? The first message board that Ant has ever known to exist since he and Tits got together? Wow...are you out of touch...

Yeah they were always involved in the Foundry or Wackbag dramas. Both Opie and especially Ant are just as obsessive about this stuff as the audience. This is good stuff, enjoy it. We were just killing time with that DeRosa thrashing, this is the main event.

I'll call you crazy, I'm fine with him wanting to know what kind of accusations people are making about him, I would do the same. Plus his "professional relationship" was already damaged, I guess you're just not paying attention here.

But what is the end goal? I mean he just keeps trashing and gossiping about stuff until...I dunno, everybody wins?

Don't read them dude. I get that you don't like it, but there are a few people on here that I don't want to read shit from, and I simply hide their comments when I see them. I find his sudden honesty about shit from awhile ago to be refreshing.

Fair enough, I get what you're saying, and I am definitely more of an Ant and Jimmy fan than Opie comedy-wise. The gossip kicks ass. But watching an awesome car crash can be funner than being in one
ETA: That last line was gay as fuck. I just meant while interested in the gossip, I don't think Anthony's methods of dealing with this situation have been very fruitful in terms of his career.

You could call it pent up frustration. He's probably wanted to openly talk shit about Opie for years and now he finally can without worrying about the consequences.

It's like Tom Cruise and Scientology.
Sure, they seem like a bunch of nutjobs, but it's gotta be great being able to command instant gratification from an audience any time of the day.

yes... but i'm interested in his interest so it appears to be a self-eating snake

No. The cornerstone of any big media program is a strong, and interactive fanbase.

You mean the guy who befriends listeners and invites strangers to his home based on tweets?

Ant has always been the one that's more active with fans, be it via Paltalk or Xbox Live or the occasional LFTC stream to now Reddit. And like /u/lickitoff said, what other message board does he have?

I know alot of celebs wants to give of an persona where they are "above it" to read what people say about them. It is all bullshit, they all read, but they just wont acknowledge you like you acknowledge them. If I had the fame and the money, I would hang out and comment in a subreddit made for me. Why not?
