I feel really weird for saying this, but I still like Opie and Anthony in the same way I always liked them. I can see where Anthony is coming from and where Opie is coming from. I don't personally hate either for anything, and I only have a positive disposition towards both.

I really like Opie because his stories about his mom, and his big family. I always loved when Opie would make bits out of fucking everything. He would push for an idea to become a bit, and it would energize everyone in the studio. I still remember when Opie proposed the top 10 country songs with Patrice & Anthony and I thought it sounded retarded; one of the first show's I listened to. And then they went through with it and shit was cash. The same thing with the Virus coming into the studio and doing stand up. I also really liked Opie's Occupy Wall Street video series, and I liked his up front abrasive interaction with the people there.

I really like Anthony because he always found a way to make a unique joke, he never took an easy route. I still remember the time he quickly jumped on Bob Kelly's line when he said, "They don't color the meat, they don't dye it." and Anthony quickly said, "Neither do you." Shit had me laughing my ass off. I also liked his political views and his opinion on certain topics, including, most of the time, race; especially when he would talk about it with Patrice. I also liked that Anthony always brought sources to his conversations about anything, and would use an array of different academic pieces to support his statement, because it not only validated what he said, but gave me a better understanding of where he was coming from and what he was thinking.

Its not to say that either of them is perfect.

Opie does have softskin when it comes to getting roasted, I personally don't mind it but I can definitely see why others do. The one thing that I didn't really like, I don't know if this is still prominent, is that he would always deliver good lines with low self esteem delivery; I know he had a higher fear to bomb than Jim or Ant. I remember one really funny thing he said one time when they were talking about Hitler with Patrice. Anthony said that Hitler ruined the mustache and no one could use it. Opie lowly chimed in with, "If he lived long enough he'd ruin the smiley face too." I thought it was funny, but it bothered me he said it so that he couldn't get shit, or praise for it.

One thing that still bothers me about Anthony is some of his racial views. He really does have some weird opinions. I remember one time talking to Patrice and Jim Anthony said that Italians "inherently" had the skill to be masons, and that they brought that skill to America. He eventually made a joke out of it, but it seemed like he really believed in that nonsensical innate position. He also has some opinions now that I don't agree with 100%, but I enjoy hearing them. One thing I really hated was when Anthony used to defend Danny whenever someone was chastising him in any degree. You could always hear a little fatherly love coming from Anthony and that made Danny's ego bigger than it already was.

I think that I like them both, a lot. Now that I think about their split I'm actually pretty sad, now that I know they weren't best of friends I'm a little sad about that too. I just sort of wish Anthony and Opie said goodbye like Ron & Fez did, with all the homosexuals undertones in full force.

Needles to say that little Jimmy is infallible and there's nothing to even question about him. And since this is so long I should probably call your fuckin mother over so I could stick my 18 inch fuckin pecka in her. Fawk yeah, double cunts cock suckah.

Sorry, there's been a lot of long posts over this week, and I'm just contributing to them. I'm just honestly curious if anyone still likes Opie and Anthony. I'm personally waiting on both of them to croak so E-Rock and Denny can start their super show, but until then I'll see what Opie and Anthony are doing.
