Like Terri Schiavo before it, the concept of the O&A show was kept on life support despite everyone knowing in their hearts that it was never going to be the way that it was before the incident. Just try to envision how little show prep and care a podcast would've had if their 7 figure Sirius show was phoned in every day as it was. And I'm glad to see it die the way it needed to, which is with fire, and at the hands of the man most responsible for its success.

Good job Ant. This at least gives us some closure, and is the best of a bad situation. And of course, fuck Opie and his horrible attempt to garner sympathy. I only feel bad for him in that his sociopathy makes him incapable of acting like a human being, and he thus shifts blame for all but the most egregious of his faults, for which he knows Ant will ream him.
