The reality has set in, we'll never have O&A back. I don't like either of their shows on their own. As cringy as it is to listen to O&J, I've tried TACS and its still missing something. I know a lot of people are enjoying this blow up but I would so much rather it all went away so we could have our parents back together again.

There are lots of funnier people putting out great podcasts these days. The O&A era is over and none of their new shows will live up to that greatness. Perfect time to seperate yourself from this disaster and find something new.

This is true. I'm using this time to go back and listen to all the old shows I wasnt a listener for, some really funny stuff in there. End of an era though

They were on borrowed time for the last year or so anyways. I think if after Anthony was fired Opie and Jim got on the air and trashed management and then quit it would have reinvigorated the fans and if they moved to a podcast or something they'd have done some great shows for a little while but at the end of the day they were pretty much done as a show. If Opie and Jim quit it would have been a more appropriate end but since they didn't quit the best route to take was for them to get into a blowout.

The split was inevitable and already years in. I have to credit Anthony for putting it all out in the open instead of letting the fans wondering for years about what really happened and hanging on every word of Opie about when he might be on TACS like Opie was trying to do. Now we know, and everyone can make their own conclusions and move to whatever they want.
