the whole show today is like an ex Girlfriend thats been scorned crying about being left at home while her ex is out partying. "We use to talk on the phone all the time" Throwing a phony pity party on his self viewed slight of Ant not being his friend. Crying. 100%. Opie was/is in love with Ant. Both of them cite the issues around Ant's girlfriend in 1999 as a turning point in the relationship. Opie said he was "competing" with the girl on today's show...he was jealous that she was getting all of Ant's attention. So he lashed out at her for taking away his "best friend". The hours long phone calls after each show ended. And he "never got over it".

Anthony spent 2 hours whining about a Co worker. My wife does that shit.
They are both acting like girls who got their feelings hurt.
But I really believe that this was Ant's shot to take as many listeners as he could, before blowing up that bridge.

Yes but the difference was Anthony stayed on point about business issues and the way he was perceived. Opie cried and said Ant stopped calling and they were best friends.

Dude, have you every had a friend that was pissed at you and you tried to make it better, And you just couldn't get through to him. I have it sucks, I lost a best friend like that. But what if I had to work with him everyday. That would of sucked.
These guys were living with each other and were friends in the beginning. Something changed.
