Remember when Opie got Anthony fired?

Oh wait, that was Ant who went on that racist twitter rant. Remember how everyone on this sub reddit mocked Anthony for getting beat up by a black girl? Remember how everyone was on the same page that Anthony was more than likely creeping with camera? Everyone seemed to be laughing at Anthony until it got serious and he got fired.

My point being is that Opie might be (is) an insufferable douche but the only person to blame fore Ant not being at SiriusXM anymore is Anthony. Even if Opie was threatening to quit for years and snapped his fingers at interns, none of this caused Ant to be where he is now, he did.

Anyone remember laughter?

But nobody is arguing that Opie got Anthony fired...

I'm sorry gang, I just miss my favorite show and now that reunion is never going to happen its sad

But we all enjoy ant as an entertainer that's it. Opie stinks. I blame ant for getting himself fired but he still makes me laugh. What about you firing aside, do you find him funny?

I love Anthony, he was supremely talented and probably the funniest person to ever be on radio, I just don't know how he could be so bitter towards Opie when really he put himself in the situation to get fired. Sirius never gave a shit about the show so I think if Opie stood up for him they would have fired both him and Jim. Now this would be great for future shows but Opie has two children and a full staff who rely on the show for a job. Most of the company hates all the staff of O&A, so I wouldn't be surprised if they fired everyone.

I kind of agree with Burr's sentinment about what were Jimmy and Opie suppose to do in that situation? They resigned because they were lucky to even be offered to come back. Sirius could have easily saved a lot of money by giving them the boot and they wouldn't see even a minor dip in subscriptions.

I don't think Ant should have been fired in the first place; although after months of that awful apology bit you would think he would know better.

It does kind of seem like Anthony set up a situation where he couldn't lose. Opie looks shitty either way.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I don't agree one hundred percent but I can honestly see your point of view. What did you think of today's TACS?

Pretty much clarified everything we've thought about Opie over the years, the snapping at the interns thing made my blood boil. As someone with a short fuse in the work place, I can't imagine how anybody put up with it. It reminds me of the Opie milk diva saga, it makes him a whole lot less sympathetic.

Really I just feel bad for Jim Erock and Sam.

Agree one hundred percent

Holy shit...

I wonder if Opie is going to say that his twitter got hacked by a hater.
