I've been hating Opie since 2007, I'm sure there are many others that have been hating him just as much for just as long.

I tolerated him because I listened to mostly XM shows and they were so funny. The Patrice Louie Burr days. I figured the guy had to have contributed to the direction of the show and while hes not a comedian like the others he serves his purpose. Dont know why I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He's awful

Any dirt on the Steve C stuff involving Opie? All I knew was Sirius found his position redundant then few months later he was dead. I loved Steve "grrrr" C. and it seemed he was also let go with ease. The show kinda took a turn after he was gone.

There were "haters" on Wackbag many years ago, but the board was thick with sycophant truck drivers who blindly defended every aspect of the show and tried to redirect all criticism onto Howard Stern. They actually attempted to obey Opie's orders to "EAT YOUR OWN, PEOPLE" or as he'd say today "manipulate the haters." The site was really popular with fans at one time but dried up over the years because it was such a lame collection of ballwashers attempting to curry favor from the hosts. But if you go through old threads you'll find the same points about Opie sucking and lying being made years ago there. Back then Opie claimed that those who criticized him weren't really fans of the show, they were actually just Stern fans in disguise. He now claims that the current "haters" are just mad that Ant got fired and blaming it on Opie. The reality is that Opie just really sucks and he always has.

To be honest opiesucks always seemed weirdly obsessed about it instead of just pointing out what was wrong with him.

But can't deny he was right all along.
