Opie is Chuck

"I'll keep on Greenstein. Won't bacger him, but maybe I can gradually wear him down. Get him to come around."

'Thanks. Wow. I'm so ... lucky to have you looking out for me.'

"I'll do what I can, I'm not promising anything."

'I get it. It's a long shot. Hey, maybe there is a way that you could get Scott to change his mind.'

"How?"

'Quit.'

"Ant, no. No, no, no ..."

'No, no, it's perfect.'

"We've already been through all this. The reasons I'm never gonna leave SXM. Even though I pretend to every two years."

'But you don't have to really quit. Okay? You just threaten to quit, right? You get in a game of chicken with Scott. He's gotta blink, or channel 103/206 goes under. It's a perfect plan. Heh.'

"Anthony..."

'If you want us working together. Ahem. You can make it happen easily. I mean, hey, managment says numbers are up, right? And they've never been happier with the show? How about that, right? They love you. Now, you threaten to pull out, they would be insane to screw with you. You've got the nuclear option. Launch the doomsday device. Game over. If working with me is what you really want, right, Opie?"

This is great.

in Slothiest voice: "I know you'll come to see it's for the best."

Haven't you been listening to what they've both been saying the last few days?

They never had any off-air discussions. If they had, none of this would be happening.

What does it have to do with off-air discussions?

Opie claims to have pushed behind the scenes on Ant's behalf.

Ant doesn't believe him.

The lack of support and outward lies about behind-the-scenes action seemed to parallel the scene from BCS.

Edit: Maybe you didn't see the scene. All I did was switch the names.
