What an awkward Friday show

Especially since Thursday's seemed fun. I'm not a "hater" but the tension in the studio was so uncomfortable. Sam seemed really annoyed at Opie and Sherrod bewildered by the whole thing. Opie "doubling down" on talking shit about Fez, then deciding to vent about Anthony, brought the show to a standstill. and the last few weeks have been pretty decent, so it seemed out of nowhere.
The Ant stuff is pretty known, but Opie...what was the point of that shit against Fez? I don't even like Fez but read the fucking room (bc you could hear Sam and Sherrod getting extremely uncomfortable) and "steer the ship" or whatever. It was just really bizarre

Opie is a scumbag of a human being, once you realize that then everything else makes a lot more sense.

He thinks someone who is depressed and battling inner demons deserves to be ridiculed, insulted, and shunned. He believes they should just snap out of it. You know...like he did. Ol' Gyno Chest dealt with his stuffff. Now he has NO lingering issues from his momma's boy past whatsoever. And when the object of his derision shows that they can bite back...hooo boy...time to outwit them with his naturally gifted perspicacity.
He only knows how to do radio one way. And it's going to be his downfall. Radio has passed him by.

Opie likes to call himself the point guard. At best he's Raymond Felton.
