Opie is bitter for whatever reason. Instead of tipping his cap to a great 20 years and calling it a day, over time he had to take his jabs. I feel like he thinks Ant owes him for pulling him out of tin knocking. It's true, Ant may still be in an attic in Long Island instead of a basement in Long Island if not for Opie. But Opie needs to realize he'd be nowhere without Ant either

Opie would be either Dennis Falcone or Todd because if Ant and Joe didn't submit that song he'd have remained a wanna be Stern with less talent. Ant is the funny opie steers the ship. I enjoy both shows.

Bullshit. Dennis Falcone is glorious. Opie could never hope to be on that level.

I'd guess Opie would be in radio doing hack shit in some nowhere like Idaho, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Opie would just have some shit job like everybody else if he never found ant.

This reminds me of that episode with Patrice where Ant is talking about his tin-knocking days and Patrice said something like "damn Ant, he really got you out of a shitty job" and Opie replies "he knows...he knows" and laughs then Ant comes back saying "Hey, I heard your old shows, if it wasn't for me you'd still be spinning records on Long Island" in which Patrice just laughs. That's one of the only times I've heard them both say they made each other.

nah nigga. Ant is great on his own. Opie is the asshole who doesnt have the balls to do a show on his own because he knows he cant.
