He hates his guts and is happy he got fired. Best thing that's ever happened to him. If u don't believe me try listening to the show now,he fake laughs waaay more at jokes he clearly doesn't understand.
The best thing is they talk about how they don't have much in common any more, but both clearly have some weird aversion to making simple phone calls. This isn't even new, they used to joke about it on the show.
