How come Opie never mentioned the Stern episode of Comedians in Cars?

I thought he was "all in" with that show. Weird how he didn't even mention it.

Because it eats at his soul that he is in no way considered a comedian/entertainer worthy of going on CICGC, and Stern is.

He won't meet Jerry that way

or any way.
I can't remember if this was recent or a while ago, but Opie was asking Colin about why he wouldn't let him talk to Seinfeld at some event. He said something like "I don't even think I was going to talk about the show!" and Colin goes, "How was that even a consideration for you?"

Talk about the show....to my knowledge he never once riffed with AntH on Seinfeld references. If anything he was bothered by them.

He can't meet Jerry through Colin or through his agent.
O&A shared a story where they were at an event with their agent. Somehow, their agent knew Jerry Seinfeld personally.
O&A wanted to meet Seinfeld and asked their agent to arrange it at the event. The agent went over to Seinfeld and introduced O&A.
Seinfeld said, "Nice to meet you," and walked away.

He did mention it at one point. He basically said he found it the most boring episode of the season, which I agree. Pretty sure that was about it.
