I know I'm a little late here, but I 100% agree that he needs to bring all the new "cellar crew" comics to the show. O&A's prime IMO was the era when people like CK, Burr, Patrice, Kelly, CQ, and Vos were coming in frequently. Since they peaked, it kind of just seems like they're relying on appearances from those same people who come in less and less. Patrice died, CK doesn't do the show anymore, Burr does it very rarely, and the rest are pretty rare too. It's understandable that they wouldn't always be ready to do the show non-stop - a lot of them have moved on and up in their careers. But what has replaced them? Pretty much nothing. Ant needs to develop a new gang of rotating comics - like the LoS dudes, Kurt Metzger, Tom Segura, etc. His show is so insanely better to me when he has a good comic in. He should really try to tap into some of the up-and-comers like they did on O&A. I would love the show if he did that.

Please fucking no, not Arri Shaffir. The guy is not off-the-cuff funny whatsoever, and has no talk radio style improv skills, he sucks. Did you hear him on Carolla just last week? Holy shit. One fucking bomb-a-roo after another. The guy is a joke writer and a stand up, that's it.

I don't think he's hilarious. He can hold a conversation and stuff, but he never says anything funny. He'll say "inappropriate things" that I guess you can laugh at, but as far as being an Ant or Kevin Pollak type that can just fire clever, "how did he come up with that" shit out the whole time, he's not even close. He couldn't hold a candle to Anthony.

Like all of the shit they said they were going to do over at TACS, this too will also not happen. They, Keith especially, talk so much shit about their "network" and nothing has yet to actually -HAPPEN-

They said yesterday that they have put in an offer on a place in the city. They have shown multiple screenshots of the new app and have spoken about its various features as the people involved with the show beta test it. They've been hosting others like LoS and Black From the Compound separately from Anthony's show to see how people enjoy them. They've been consistently bringing in new sponsors. The show started in August. The things they are planning to do don't just happen over a weekend; they take some time. They likely spent most of the Fall evaluating whether the show even had legs while finding their groove, and now that they've seen it does, they are going through with their plans. For them to bullshit about these things, go through the effort they have so far, and then never do it would mean the end of the show by next Fall due to everyone canceling their subscriptions. That's horrible business sense, and I don't think they are foolish enough to do that. As for Ari, it's all speculation for now.

But maybe you're right, and it's all for nothing. We'll see.
