So basically everyone else should have repeatedly called Anthony to discuss the situation at all even if he ignored them?

Ant's my favorite, but he's being ridiculously petulant . Say what you will, he fucked the show up. Even as he still feels righteous about the vague, weird situation he described, he should at least talk to some of the others and discuss the situation in SOME way - just call them up.

I just don't get how Ant doesn't understand how much he fucked over the show because he was drunk one night/week. And he acts like everyone owes him a phone call?

When Opie and Anthony put their ego's aside they will be able to get shit sorted. Until then it will remain a pissing contest. Both men have acted very childishly and are equally to blame. However, Fuck Opie

Problem is I don't want them to get their shit sorted out. The last thing I want is for opie and anthony to be on the radio together again. Opie is GARBAGE. There is no place for him on a show full of comedians flinging shit at eachother, he's an oversensitive sack of man-tits.

What should have happened from the start was for Anthony to try and set up a studio in the City and get Jimmy on board right from the get go. That would be the ideal situation, I have no desire to hear Opie ruin things like he's done to many interviews and shows in the past.

Two men in their 50s posting about a situation on Facebook instead about picking up a fucking phone.

What a bunch of dramatic bitches O&A are.

Real talk.

he fucked over the show because he was drunk one night/week

How was it not sirius that fucked it up for firing him over shit he's said 100 times before?

And he acts like everyone owes him a phone call?

When has he personally said someone owes him a phone call?

Fair.

And he acts like everyone owes him a phone call?

Yet, when people call he doesn't pick up. Nigga needs to see a Shrink and sort out his fear of confrontation.

the truth is... real niggas do real things, titter aint a real nig

You're making too much sense and the sycophantic nut huggers here won't hear a word of it because they're more dogged in their beliefs than SJWs and the Westboro Church people.

Ant's a coward. He's always been afraid of confrontation. Take the times he's talked endless shit on the radio about someone but won't go near the same levels of vitriol when they're in studio. Or when he'd talk about not wanting to go to his grandmother's funeral because it makes HIM upset. Don't deny it, nut huggers, he's admitted all of this himself. He's terrified of confrontation.

Both of these absolute 50 year old faggots should grow a pair and stop acting like teenage bitches.

That might be too logical for this place. Quite a few people(including Anthony) dropped the ball in this situation.

Well seeing as though Opie was the guy at the negotiating table with Sirius, I'd say it was in his court to make sure Ant wanted the old content broadcasted...if he truly saw Ant as a "partner" in all this.
<Ring> Ant: Hey Ope.
Opie: Whaaaaazzzzzup maahhhhhhhn!!! Just got done talking to management. They love the new direction of the show so far and think I'm doing a great job. But hey, what do you think about getting some of the archives run every week? I think it'd be a good way to keep the brand alive, while we figure out a way to get you back on the air. We've had a bunch of meetings about it, and I think they are thawing to the idea. I'm going to keep working it though. Ant: Well as much as it pisses me off to think they can still broadcast my material, that isn't a bad idea, and I'm glad you are... Opie: HOLD ON HOLD ON HOLD ON. Jimmy is really pushing management for your return too.
Ant: Well Ope, like I was saying, I do appreciate the effort with those fuckers.

The burden apparently falls on everyone else but Anthony. And they're the assholes for not picking up the slack

Just understand, everything he said on twitter he was being paid by SiriusXM to say on their airwaves. Had he said the exact same things on the show instead of twitter this wouldn't have been a problem which is really messed up and it should put SiriusXM in a horrible light... SiriusXM doesn't condone that type of talk, they pay for it till the public notices.

Jimmy talks about some touchy subjects too, it's only a matter or time someone decides to start up a cause against him which could get him axed also.

I've had key coworkers get fired before, I know I never expected them to call even though it left the rest of the team in a bad situation but I've seen the coworkers reach out to the fired person to see if there was anything we could help with, like someone to contact to help get them a new job. I think some of Ant's old coworkers don't reach out because of the fear of possible repercussions from the company or someone in their management chain.

If anyone thinks ant wouldn't have taken a pay rise and not quit if it was the other way around you are delusional. This all happened because of what he did but he has come out lookin like the victim and has everyone here chippin away at his peckah

I'm peckin' away at his chippah.

Im poppin a bag of popcorn

According to "Fleaman" Anthony's alcoholism was a problem with his coworkers and management. They'd talked about a possible intervention. They were also disturbed by his proclivity for young teens and angered when he brought a teen child girlfriend to their over-18 show. Here's one of his posts (Anthony confirmed that's "Fleaman" in a few comments): http://www.reddit.com/r/opieandanthony/comments/2voc3g/the_real_issues_between_opie_and_anthony/

(Anthony confirmed that's "Fleaman" in a few comments):

Except that I know the real Flea, and that's not him

Ant's your favorite?

I just find it funny that he apparently said "Want to see a decade of dominance? Stick around!"

Real tough talk from a guy who says he hasn't called Burr back because he's afraid of him.
