To answer some of the questions on my post below: I didn't for a second think that Anthony's tweet was aimed at me. It was obviously aimed at Sirius. I understood his point completely. Of course it would be frustrating to hear your voice on the platform that fired you. So you know... neither one of us gets paid for the old O&A material. I only get paid on new content that I provide the OpieRadio channel. I absolutely don't need to play the O&A material to survive. I thought it would be a good chance to keep the Opie and Anthony brand alive and that it would absolutely push new listeners to BOTH SHOWS. It's great advertising. Yes...I didn't call Anthony either. Over the years we rarely talked off the air or on the phone and usually it was small talk. Look I love the guy for what we accomplished but we grew very far apart over the years and yes I find that sad. More to come...
