When I re-signed with SiriusXM Radio I negotiated the ability to play the old Opie and Anthony audio. Leading up to this... from July - Oct they didn't want Anthony's voice on the channel. Wasn't easy but I was able to get them to change their mind on this. My reasoning was to try to keep the Opie and Anthony brand alive and to keep the door slightly open for Anthony to return. So, I put a 2 hour best of together called Decade of Dominance that runs on friday afternoons. Its been running for awhile and I never heard from Anthony that he was bothered by this until he tweeted the following last night: Yes, I do hate the fact that the hypocritical fucks running Sirius/XM deemed me too toxic to work there but still play my shit. I wish he would have called me to discuss this for I'm sure we would have figured something out but he didn't. The fact is he rarely called me to discuss anything over the last 10+ years. So, effective immediately I will remove Decade of Dominance from the OpieRadio channel and will also remove the Opie and Anthony podcast that was a weekly couple of hours of O&A material.
