Is there anyone here who actually likes the show still?

I listen about 3 times a week, maybe. And it's mostly background noise at work. I definitely don't have the vitriol as a lot of people here do but it's fallen by the wayside for sure. All the nit picky shit on here as been drilled into my head so I notice everything a lot more. But I'm not angered about the show. So I suppose I'm somewhere in the middle but is there anyone here who is still excited to listen everyday and finds the show still iteresting?

I never hated Opie, I never hated the show. I always wanted to give it one more chance... but the past 2 weeks have been absolutely terrible.
The same guests, the railroading jokes, Opie being an absolute bore. I hate it. I absolutely 100% hate everything that the show has come to represent.
I gave it so much time and patience because I loved the show so much, but now I actually feel betrayed by it. I feel like listening actually insults my intelligence. I can't listen anymore

No.

I'm a dope, so I get excited, listen for 20 minutes, become hopelessly depressed, stop listening, vow never to listen again, try it again anyway a month later, immediately repeating my previous mistake.

I do the same thing... but the last time I tried, I lasted about 45 seconds in, because Opie was making these stupid wierd sounds to be "cool".

I think there are (a few) people who think it's listenable. But people who actually like the show? Hard to imagine. I definitely don't want to meet them if they exist.

I'll listen for Bobby or Colin. Rest of the show can catch a boat to fuck offidy land.
I mainly used to listen for Ant & the guests. I barely even stand Norton. I don't get all the hype behind him, maybe it's cause I'm not a truck driver, but his voice is irritating, his standup sucks, he grovels to guests, & 'Chip' consists of saying silly things with a lisp.
Mind bending entertainment.

I'm having a really tough time refuting anything you said.

I think he just ruined chip for me.
He's right, dammit.

Yeah I enjoy the show.
I actually thinks it's better than it was a year ago.
Back in 2014 the entire crew was phoning it in.
Now that Ant got fired it seems like everyone is trying harder.

I understand a lot of the gripes people have with the show, and I agree with many of them but I definitely still enjoy the show.

I've basically quit. I tuned in a few days ago for a few minutes, but couldn't take it. I come here to read whats going on and take some shots at fat tits though.

There was a thing I heard with Mike Bocchetti and Sandy Kane and for whatever reason it was the most entertaining stupid radio I've heard in years. Which means it will never happen again on OpieRadio.
No Patrice, No Bobo Kurlan, No Ant = as you said 'background noise' at work.

I like the equivalent of maybe 1 show every 2 weeks, but I don't listen to it everyday. If I have the time I'll listen to a little and see if it's worth my attention.

No. And I've been happily listening for about 6 years. Very rarely missing a show. Never been happier. Greatest show on earth.
But I've become obsessed with the shows inevitable demise. I wanna see it crash and burn in the worst way. So I hang out here.
TAC show is where the exodus has taken us. There is light at the end of the tunnel there.

No. I can't even judge the content because I can't get over opies horrible speach. The way he stumbles over words, studders, and will start a new thought in the middle of a sentince is infuriating

Probably not here, but Wackbag is full of people that are all in with the new show.

I still listen daily but find myself skipping over stuff more regularly.

I still listen at work but a few times I've walked over to the radio and turned down when I needed to. Or I'll switch to rich and Covino and they are sort of funny sometimes but too millennial. One thing I will absolutely always turn the radio OFF if my wife hates me comes on
1 BumbiBestie 2015-03-25
I find it hard to believe anyone would ever listen to Co-vino and Rich on purpose. Aren't they on the same time as Ron & Fez?

The only big laugh I've had somewhat recently was when they recapped Meatballs' appearance on Erik's show and they imitated Todd Pettingale's wife being a drunken cunt at the party.

I've listened to a total of maybe 20 hours of the new show. It's mildy amusing at it's best. I like hearing when Dan Soder and Ron come on. The only gold so far has been the Erock/Adrian/Lady Di saga.

I like them when certain guests are on. It's not mandatory listening anymore. Part of the issue is that they rely too heavily on the regulars and I get tired of them. I like Florentine, but if he's in too often, his whole "I'm a metal head that bangs chicks in Florida and hates everything" wears thin. Plus with Louie abandoning the show and Burr rarely on, they don't have a lot of guests with depth or interesting stories.

Nope.
Why should i? Opie has become jocktober. He's a hypocrite.
The second ant was fired everyone knew there was no point listening.
Stop giving Sirius statistics. If you're fed up just quit. Then the market will chase opie out.
