This has long been stated by every member of the show, Jim in particular, who always said if he started putting out a shitty radio show, his fans would eat him like rats in Willard. They knew this exodus and bashing was coming for years and did nothing to stop it.

Ant was very vocal about the callers being terrible, and let's face it, they mostly are. But to be fair, I don't think I've ever heard anybody say anything negative about meeting them in person.

I liked the callers who are in on the bit. Best callers are the ones who shared their sexy molestation stories and the like. The ass kissers and pluggers are annoying and need to be shot. We live in the age of the internet, you don't need to hang on hold for an hour to find out where you can buy tickets to see Jimmy.

No the listeners are why you're their. The callers are obstacles you have to maneuver around.
