You know what this sub has become?
Do you remember back in high school when there was something funny going on, and everyone ran with it...and then people start trying to keep it being funny even after it's completely run out of gas simply because they wanted to be in on it too?
I've always found it funny how most 'friends of the show' admitted to listening to Howard rather than O&A/J. I've heard Bobby Kelly, Rich Vos, Joe Rogan, and recently Legion of Skanks all talk about listening to Stern in the mornings.
Well, to be fair Rogan has always talked about listening to both.
As for his bizarre defense of Sirius/XM during the Joey Diaz podcast, I chalk it up to JRE being also broadcast on Sirius.
Oh, he was talking about what a value Sirius/XM is to have in your car, and that podcasts don't offer the same sort of variety in live broadcasting. Also, not everyone has Bluetooth in their cars for podcasting.
I have SiriusXM, and it fucking blows. I just haven't gotten around to canceling it yet. Definitely not a value. My phone offers way more variety in entertainment than SiriusXM. And I can listen to live shows like TACS through the bluetooth when I drive.

What was he defending on the Diaz podcast? I don't know anything about that.

People will listen to whatever is convenient.
Sirius/XM is convenient.
Listening to shows over the internet in your car is a p.i.t.a.
Also, Joe lives in Los Angeles, where all of the most popular shows are in Spanish. So XM is a no-brainer.
