The Opie & Jim show peaked with Bill's death

The water buffaler singing that Monkees tribute was such a surreal and unreasonable touching moment. And when she said Bill was in the fridge.

The Opie and Jim show peaked with the Gervais, Vos, Bobby and Pete Rose show.
...I think that was the second show after coming back.

It was all downhill after that terribly awkward Montreal show.

The tiny, drab hotel conference room, the terrible audio. that's when I realized Opie's right, Sirius management is really pleased and supportive of the new format.

Eh, when everyone started to shit on Pete Holmes it was really fucking funny. But yeah, most of it was awful

Vos was unreal in that Pete Rose interview. I think this Vos line might be one of my favorite slams in show history.

The thing I love most about this is Jim cracking up before Vos is even finished because he knows where he's going with it.

IMO the show's peak was Larry King defecating into Opie's open mouth about his relationship with Ant.

That was O&J? Could have sworn Anthony was there for that
EDIT - I'm wrong. I retract what I said and go fuck myself

Anthony had the best line about it. It's one that works spoken but not written out.
Anthony asks why Bill's ashes were scattered in the ocean. "He was always fascinated with the sea." "So he invited one into his home."

When Marion dies and Lady Di outlives her will be the greatest day of radio ever. I'm holding out for that.

If opie is still being payed to work in radio at that point I'll have to kill myself

Why wait?
2 cabaretcabaret 2015-03-18
Marion looks like a retarded Hunter Thomson.
Hopefully she goes out the same way.

That was probably the greatest day of the O & J show.

Something has to have been on a rise to peak. This was more like an outlying data point.

And it didn't even happen on the main show, Lady Di called in and broke the news on the pre-show.

I'd say it peaked with Kevin Polak bashing Sam.

That was it for me, it was all downhill after that.
3 AngeloMacon 2015-03-18
I don't mind Sam like some of you, but his Opie-ish response to that whole segment was disappointing.
