Once their current contracts are up and they don't get re-signed the sub will feel euphoric in the midst of it's hollow victory but we'll slowly come to realize that we all reveled in watching something beautiful and unique die a slow and ugly death and it's going to leave a bad taste in people's mouths. Yeah, if Opie and Jim never re-signed, and the whole O&A "brand" and the assorted personalities were never heard on Sirius again, this sub would have slowly quieted down. It wouldn't instantly die, there'd be posts about how the Opiecast sucks, and how whatever Jim's doing sucks, and how Ant is racist, but there wouldn't be as much activity.

Depite the "rebranding", we all fucking know what the show is now - the exact same thing, minus Ant. It's an insult how bad it is, so it just fuels even more discussion. It doesn't help that Opie keeps topping himself in doing/saying completely retarded shit.

The bottom line: the show sucks and the sub is 100% more entertaining
