I could never figure this guy out TBH. My initial reaction is that he was an awkward, effeminate virgin rather than gay, and it was his virginity he was covering up, which is why he doesn't remember any details of his ridiculous story of having sex.
The reason I questioned whether or not he was gay was just because he dressed so flamboyantly. If someone is gay and trying to hide it, why dress like fuckin liberace?
Either way he's clearly not being honest in his stories, but then the fact that his song was actually called Julia - the name he gave them for the girl his stories were about, makes me really confused about what to believe.
Unfortunately now I just end up hating Opie more from these old clips than the subjects. Like him having to get attention by throwing chocolate strawberries at this fruit's expensive shoes, because he was jealous his family was rich, unlike the poverty stricken Hughes. Opie was a multimillionaire at this point. And we now know he continually lied about his family, their own wealth, and his upbringing. He was never poor! Too bad this guy was a 120lb twink, because he should have taken those strawberries and smushed them into the Torpid Sloth's face.
