Do you think he'd benefit from a straight man so he doesn't have to do utilitarian stuff like setting up clips and changing topics? Perhaps that would allow him to be more like the curmudgeonly commentator we love. I liked when he was seemingly subjected to things against his will. If he's introducing the topics, it removes that comedic element. I think the widespread personal dislike of Opie blinds people from the usefulness of such a role. I wish Erock was a free agent.
