You have a point, but I think radio is a form of art. When talking about creating art and putting it out there, money shouldn't be your main priority. You should care more about your art, your product. Have some integrity, Opie. Continuing a show just for the paycheck makes you a fucking sell out. Have some passion for your work and take pride in the work itself, not the paycheck.
This is almost bordering on the "just doing my job" argument that fucking shitholes like the TSA use.
Once again is a different story than he's been telling over the years about how depressing the 2 years off he had were, anyone who only cared about money probably wouldn't of had that same depression getting paid to do nothing for 2 years.
