is this what people actually think is the reason? why do you guys think burr has said absolutely nothing about anthony getting fired? he has an issue with ant beyond a phone call.

ant said he was "scared" to make the call. he knows something is wrong (obviously...) as well.

To be fair, baby boy is fantastically hilarious on the radio. It's everything else he does that's remarkably boring.

He's comparatively funny on the radio. All the intelligence on the show was fired, and baby boy is only good when he has someone to be funny with. He doesn't hold up on his own, and his standup is testament to that.

Ant is avoiding Bill because Bill is married to a black woman, and Ant avoids confrontation like a little kid. Ant skipped his friends benefit rather than risk having to have a conversation like a grown up. I think he's avoiding Opie too.

I don't think Bill is shunning Ant. He tried to talk to Ant. It seems that Ant is shunning Bill.. he avoided his calls and refused to call him back. They are adults. Grown men don't beg other grown men to talk to them. If the benefit meant a lot to Anthony he could have called Burr back at any time before the benefit and talked things out. If there was a benefit for a good friend of mine and I felt like I was being left out of it I know I'd certainly call the person putting it together (especially if it is a person who has called me multiple times and I've been avoiding for 6 months) to sort things out so I could make an appearance. Anthony, however, opted to be "scared" as he put it on his show. It isn't Bill's responsibility to keep calling Anthony until he grows the balls to answer the phone. To be honest with you I think Anthony would have felt uncomfortable going to the benefit because it would have meant that he'd have had to see/talk to Opie and Burr and deal with fans who want to see a reunion of the O&A show and he probably simply didn't want to deal with it all. It may have even been a distraction from the actual purpose of the benefit since most of the fans who go to that thing are O&A fans. Had he wanted to be there, he would have made some sort of effort.

Not returning his call is a bigger deal than the OP is implying. You can't expect people to continue reaching out to you after you've shown no interest in reciprocating.

If you decide to put on a benefit for someone, you do not put your own politics/agenda into it. Anthony was a good friend to Patrice, and he deserved to be there.

People here give Burr a pass on his actions with Anthony. But, he really acted just like DeRosa - he took Anthony's situation and made it all about himself. Another self-important asshole.

How did Burr make the Anthony situation about himself/act like DeRosa? He didn't mention it a single time in any public forum. Burr never talks about shit like that publicly. He couldn't have made it any less about himself. He totally ignored it. He reached out to Anthony and was slighted twice and that was that. I really don't get what more people expect him to do. Anthony is a grown man. If he doesn't want to answer the phone or call Burr back why should Burr beg him to? If he talked to Burr maybe there wouldn't have even been a problem at all. Now it is just awkward for Anthony because he waited half a year and still hasn't returned a call. At any time before the Patrice benefit Anthony could have called Burr back and talked things out if it really meant a lot to him to be invited. Why does everybody have to come crawling to Anthony if he can't even be bothered to pick up his phone?
