DeRosa's problems aren't that he's a back stabber, a liar, not a good friend, not a good comic, wears old man shoes like TroyQuan says. Joe is very easily influenced by his surroundings. When he was Baaawwwbbby's co host on YKWD back in the day, he was like the regulars on O and A. That's why they had him on because he was entertaining. He got the show and he was able to take a joke. He could bust balls. Since he moved LA, he started hanging with alternative comics and reallllllly left leaning comics like that Andy Kindler fellow(who can't take a joke WHATSOEVER). They got in his ear. If Patrice was still alive, he would have murdered Joe for his "How am in supposed to explain to my black friends why I'm still friends with Ant....."
