To be fair, you'd think that Patrice's death would be a wake-up for him, but he actually has gotten fatter since. His friends are probably legitimately worried about his health, especially since he has a kid now.

If you listen to his appearances over the years you can track his weight loss/gain. He's either lost weight and he's bragging about it, or talking about how great this new diet is (South Beach diet, humans aren't meant to eat grains (Paleo I'm guessing), I think he did Keto once etc) or he's fat again and they're giving him shit about that.
