Anyone remember Joe DeRosa making them laugh?

Of course I'm a fan of Anthony and not Joe, but I'm sincerely asking: when has Joe DeRosa ever been funny? I've never seen his standup act, so maybe he kills on stage and can't make the transition to radio. But I'll be damned if his O&A appearances have ever made me so much as chortle. He's like a less stable Tom Papa.

I hate to give Troy credit but he was right about DeRosa.

I remember actually thinking Troy was overreacting at the time. I guess being around Joe behind the scenes, Troy just picked up on Joe's shitty nature.

Joe DeRosa lost that fight because he started on the offensive and then after the first blow he immediately got ultra-defensive

Troy truly hurt his feelings

I've gotten laughs from Lady Di, Patti, Bobo, Opie, Twitchels, and even Sandy Kane. I can honestly say Joe has never even made me smirk.

Don't shit on Sandy, she's had more funny jokes on the show than DeRosa, Papa, Dane and some others

He isn't shitting on Sandy Kane

I think tom papa has made me laugh more

Patti, Bobo, Twitchels, and even Sandy Kane.

Really? How? I'll admit to Opie and Lady Di, but the rest? Never.

I saw him open for Burr a few years back.

My wife thought he was all right. The only thing she likes about comedy is that she can tell people at her ironic-t-shirt job that she used to go see Louis at a place that costs $3.

The Joe we know is a shit, but stage Joe isn't even that. By-the-numbers TV jokes about food packaging and restaurant problems...if I remember right. Honestly, not a word of it stuck.

He noted that he's misshapen. Compared his shoulders to...something? Maybe? I don't know.

I expected him to have a Joe thing. He didn't. He hides himself.

Your wife sounds like a FUCKING CUNT.

Ha ha ha what is happening here

Best thing DeRosa ever did was get bashed by Burr for 12 solid episodes of Uninformed.

JeeeZUS Joe...

The funniest radio I remember Joe being involved in was when they were ripping apart his KKTITN tattoo, which was laughing at him, not anything he said. And I've never tried his stand up.

DeRosa completely fails at being intentionally funny. However, I've laughed at him plenty of times. I think he's very entertaining to listen to because he's such a self-destructive, hyper-sensitive eternal victim who sees himself as some kind of comedy visionary that people just can't fully appreciate....YET.

"You're like a fucking doctor...you know more about this then I do! I'm trusting you right now! You're like a mechanic!"

-DeRosa placing the blame for his bad tattoo (which was pre-stenciled) on the tattoo artist...and yes, he was completely serious.

I agree. One of his best appearances was a Ant/Patrice/Joe (08/03/2010) where Joe talks about his new cell phone. His fragile and childish behaviour makes great comedy fodder http://youtube.com/watch?v=gik5qv2xIdU

I've always hated Joe. His stupid laugh had me changing the channel every time

My favorite one is "Disturbing." For some reason the thought of him killing Patrice slays me every time.

Using his comedy to euthanize dogs at the shelter is my fave.

Never

Even before the full display of SJW faggotry

How did he get in the O&A circle anyways? Who from the show liked this whiney bitch?

Burr.

Nope. I remember one time Joe was in and he wasn't contributing anything (like usual)and to make up for his lack of anything interesting to say, he randomly said "I would totally blow Bailey Jay" even though nothing anyone was talking about had to do with her or trannys. He just knows it's the one thing that makes people pay attention to him. He's a nothing.

A couple years ago I saw Joe headline and he was funny, much funnier than he is on the radio and podcasts. I also met him and he was a nice dude who genuinely wanted to have a conversation. Unfortunately he has since turned into more of a douche liberal than ever before, especially since moving to LA.
He should have stayed in New York, maybe the LA heat wouldn't have fried his brain so much. He seems to have lost a lot of good friends and fans since then and gained zero in return.

Yes, on YKWD podcast and he was telling the story of how he went on a date with the crazy bitch. It was funny as shit listening to that back-stabbing kyke getting angry at her.

When Bill Burr & someone else I forget who, were ripping Derosa about his religious dad being a kid toucher. He was so fucking mad, that sensitive unfunny fuck.

Remember he was going to go home to jerk of to a shemale??

Burr shitting on Derosa constantly made me laugh hard.

No, even when the O&A show was good I'd usually turn the channel for two guests: Joe DeRosa and Tom Papa.

Tom Papa is ZZZZZ ZZZZZ always a snooze fest. At-least with DeRosa he was the butt of many a joke and always got beat on by the other comics and some of the staff. That was always funny. Joe being Joe... PASS!

The only time I ever found him funny was when he went on that date and reported back to the show on how badly it went and that he was chasing up a reimbursement for half the dinner from the woman because it didn't lead to sex. The signs were always there telling us what kind of a wormy cunt he was.

ME: Joe DeRosa did wonders for the show, nice try with the hate tho!

he's got a bit about eating KFC and choking on a bone, unfortunately not to death

Back when I liked DeRosa after his fights with Troy, I'd always hope he'd say something funny when he was on the show but always came out disappointed. It was just the most obvious line every time.

I remember liking Joe in studio, but I can't remember the exact bits. He had a good hysterical laugh that added a lot of energy to the room when something funny was happening.

Once- when Opie introduced him as a 'comedian'

I laughed at a comedian losing a battle of speech vs Dr.Steve and Troy.

When he said Troy was "fucking with his livelihood." It really made me laugh out loud until I realized he wasn't being ironic and truly meant it.

His chicken nugget sauce bit made me lawl and it's cool that he likes Bad Religion but fuck him, that's not enough.

I saw him open for Burr like 2 years ago in Boston and thought he was very funny.

Honestly he was always my favourite on the O and A, I don't know why he got all the hate in the past, but him backstabbing Ant was the line and he crossed it.
