I'd much rather have had Ant, Jim, and Sam as the new show. They all work really well off each other.
I was giving the O&J show a shot until my audible sub ran out. The last show on my subscription was Opie and Sam. I like Sam. But not with just Opie. That's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.
I agree. With the many guests TACS has had Ant riffs with most of them perfectly. I just get annoyed with Opie's stories/lies now. I don't want to hear that on TACS.
Maybe one show just so we can see ManTits squirm when he sees Ant effortlessly steering his own ship.
Opie on camera means he's not eating his boogers and picking his nose as a crutch anymore, and we will get to see the uncomfortable looks on everyone's faces when he barges in to slow down a conversation he's too stupid to follow.
I recently subscribed to Anthony's show again to see if it had gotten any better since I last subscribed, I like how it's evolving. Plus it can only get better when they finally start using their studio in NY. Hopefully it means more Jimmy on the show. I couldn't care less if O&A get back together the ship was sinking anyway.
He doesn't discuss race as much anymore and he handles dead air better now. Here is a good example of the change in flow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5NBiHxmQdg
He had a guy named frank on the other day, made for great radio.
OMG Opie is KING of talking about the exact wrong stuff, thinking he's cute or "edgy". Just like when he's being unnecessarily cruel or mean, and thinks that's humor. Jesus, he's a tool.
Ant and Jim are quick as fuck. But don't kid yourself, Opie was producing the show, which made it less-listenable. Ant has issues with the production: Opie played the part of the straight-man. I think they disagreed over the topics. Ant is running around stealing the normal 'tard callers. The Anthony & Ron show would be amazing online.
You can't deny that Opie is trying to take Ron so Ant can't get him.
I'll never blame Jimmy for keeping his job.
Why is Ron doing those spots? Don't blame him either.
But we all know Ronnie has a lot of love for Ant. Knowing how devious and evil Ronnie can be, he's probably got something up his sleeves. Probably not very complimentary in the long run. Greggshells will just bury himself.
So, you're mad that he doesn't just interview his guests, asking them a short question, to let them answer in long winded responses? He's involved in the conversation, which is more than can be said for Opie.
I was gona point this out. Rogan talked for 10% of that podcast. When he has people on who are specialists he always let's them go on for as long as they want.
I like Comedy Metal Midgets too. When Florentine gets around Opie he has to change his style too much to appease Opie. Florentine and Ant are ok but Florentine by himself is better. Yeah he repeats his bits a lot but it's still funny. He is a good mediocre.
Radiolab for sure, but they aren't as frequently posted as Rogan. Penn's Sunday School is pretty good. He has good stories. Talk Nerdy with Cara Santa Maria, Star Talk, and The Duncan Trussell Family Hour are a few others. I drive a lot for work so I blow through these pretty quickly.
I stopped listening to Penn's Sunday School because of that. Teaser after teaser to try to make me sit through drawn out shitty ads for products I'm not interested in.
It's 2015 cocksucka, you're not getting away with that shit anymore.
Can you imagine Penn stopping his stage show right before a reveal to do 5 minutes of a live read for Hulu or some equally annoying shit?
Doug loves movies, Bill Burr, Pet Holmes, Damn Interesting, Hardcore History, Stuff you missed in history class, Things you Should Know, Radio Lab, Wait Wait, dont tell me, Ari Shafir, Doug Stanhope, Todd Glass, Bert Kreischer, Greg Proops, and many more.
I checked out all the friends of the show's podcasts like Bill Burr, Bob Kelly, Rich Vos, ect. and they were all kind of lame. Someone here recommended Legion of Skanks and I love it. I stick with Legion of Skanks, Race Wars, and the O&A podcasts and old shows now. I haven't listened to a full O&J since last year.

New blood would be great for TACS.

I've been taken lil tastes of tacs recently now me and my donger are all in
3 opieanthonyjim 2015-02-07
Opie and Anthony had better chemistry than any on air duo ever in radio, including Hoo Hoo and the Milk dud.
I listen to old clips in youtube all the time now and they're all still good.

When Opie brought Jason Ellis on the show and gave his dumb show a slot on the channel I knew I wanted him out. He went too fucking far.... too far.

what's the matter? you don't like EXTREME RADIO?!?
2 shitdick720 2015-02-07
I saw a link of Nancy Grace interviewing tity boi and got excited thinking it was Opie.
1 flaystus 2015-02-07
I've recently come to the conclusion. I don't like either show. Jimmy is all thats really left for me.
2 pitstained 2015-02-07
Same, but it's a shame he as no one to bounce comedy off of. He has no choice but to be Serious Jimmy and it's really irritating.

Disagree. I want them back together.

Fuck 'em both, I listen to Joe Rogan now.
8 young_beard 2015-02-07
Rogan talks people to death. He talks so much that his guests are left with nothing to say in return. He pigeonholes his entire podcast

5 young_beard 2015-02-07
Yes! That's exactly what I am mad at. I can hear Joe Rogan everyday but his guests only get one day. He should let them be focus of his show.
8 MonsterRayn 2015-02-07
Then you'd really enjoy the Randall Carlson episode.

I don't think you know what pigeonholes means
1 young_beard 2015-02-07
Haha yeah you're right I meant filibuster. I don't know why I get that confused.
3 hoogityboogitiesRIP 2015-02-07
Omg Rogan's "go to material" of talking about the history and evolution of comedy is revolting.
-3 lantech 2015-02-07
I'm not
seeinghearing that happen, he's had some really great and informative guests on.7 LostInLibation 2015-02-07
I'm with you. I'm 100% podcasts now. Rogan being #1 on the list.
1 lantech 2015-02-07

4 ledcock 2015-02-07
Legion of skanks rules. Duncan trussell. Tuesdays with stories. Davey mac . All good

Race Wars

People are down on Florentine from his O&J appearances but I like his podcast. Him by himself has always been better.

radiolabs has ads in the middle of the show, I found that to be pretty annoying.
