Ronnie B is a modern day Lenny Bruce. There's always two levels to his comedy. The part that you laugh at when you hear it, and the part that you think about the next day.
Unfortunately, I don't think alot of people nowadays have the patience to get that sort of humor. It's a real shame.
Amen dude. There's something so soothing about the dead air, the way Ron will let a thought just sit there. He sets a pace to the show that I've never heard or seen in any other medium, it's oddly hypnotizing.
I enjoy Ron and Fez but I'm not a long term listener so I could be way off base here but I feel Ron's rant towards management was out of blind loyalty to Fez.
While I feel they absolutely should be concerned about Fez. For someone who's name is in the title if the show, he is such a void presence. If it wasn't for the occasional plug, wrestling comment or to defend gay things no one would even know he was there.
The one redeeming factor about him seems to be his dysfunctionality and mental problems seem to make for some entertaining radio. In the same way that Howard Sterns whack packers or O&A's Lady Di and Bobo.. Only you wouldn't expect that out of the supposed host of the show.
This was in 2005, Fez was just starting his 'locked up' routine. It didn't start getting really bad until 07' or 08', even later. It makes sense hearing that 10 years later, but at the time it was unwarranted.

You don't find that a faux high-pitch voice helps you get a point across?

They played this back on Ron and Fez last year. Right after, Ron goes, "...looks like I owe Cameron an apology."
