DOes Opie get his contract extended in October?

Ive been listning to oand a since like 2008 plus online to get earlier shows.I understand the show will never be as good as it was during the patrice years or when the shows friends actually gave a fuck.But since ant got fired this fuckin show has completley gone down the shitter.I dont give a fuck if i go weeks without listning to this show anymore because its just utter shit.I cant understand if the bosses havent gave opie a talking too to lift his game he is also making way more money than he was when he was with ant and when contract time is up he will probabbly get a contract extension.O and A towards the later years when it was contract time they wouldnt negotiate on the creativity of the show all they cared about was the money.Opie doesnt even read books or watch movies of the guests who on the show he always says he doesnt have time because he has 2 small kids.What the fuck does his wife do were he cant watch a 90 minute movie where he has to come home from a radio show and straight away look after his kids.Lol she probably out with her friends all day and spending opies money and once he gets fired she will be gone too

They signed a 2 year deal. The next negotiations are in 2016.

The show is incredibly safe for the company so I can't imagine them not re-signing when the contract is up. There's no risk of backlash or outside controversy from the show now. That being said, I really don't know why they bother paying Opie his 7-figure contract when they could get someone else in there that would probably do it for 1/10th of what Opie makes. The show is so neutered now that literally anyone could do what they're doing.
