Ron is the king of quick jabs. He has honed his craft carrying his deadweight mentally ill co-host for half a decade. Opie is an easy takedown.

What I always find funny is that Opie has to say "there's a joke in there..." or "I mean, you can go with the obvious joke here..." but he never can. He's so bad that he can't even think of an obvious joke about Bruce Jenner becoming a fucking woman. Most people wouldn't even need to make a joke because just acknowledging it is enough, but Tits McGillicuddy can't help himself and then he struggles to think of anything funny to say. He's objectively the worst broadcaster in the history of radio.

He reminded me of Troy in Community, except it wasn't funny.

Another difference is Troy actually comes up with a joke at the end. To boot, Donald Glover is a good comedian himself.

The biggest disservice Opie does to himself is doing radio with a legend like Ronnie B. Ron turns water into wine daily, while Opie fakes a deep voice and pretends to be edgy. Its weird listening to the most secure man in radio and the most insecure man in radio share a show.
