Do you think Opie will ever look back on his raqio career and realize he ruined so many bits and great comedic moments by yelling HOLD ON over everyone? I know this is off topic, but when is Opie hate never a topic?
Yeah I mentioned this in another thread and its a damn shame too especially with people like Patrice. Oh look everyone's riffing and throwing in jokes ,panics let's take a call SNOWAYYY.
Fuckin snowy. I always hated when he took calls in the middle of great bits. You take calls when things are slowing down not when they are going great.
That is too much to sift through. Simply realizing how dreadful it was to say, "AWK-WARD" when one of the best fighters and biggest celebrities in American history reveals he was sexually molested should haunt him forever. How long do you have to be in radio and around interviewers before you realize you have a moment and continue a seamless, linear line of questioning?
Tell 'Em Steve-Dave from #1. It'd be extremely helpful to listen to Kevin Smith's SModcast episodes:13,14,24,25,26,34,35,50,72, and any number other Bry/Walt episodes (a list of which can be found HERE to get a taste of Bryan Johnson and Walt Flanagan. Then start on TESD, which is hosted by Bry and Walt and Brian Quinn (of Impractical Jokers). Bry and Walt are on the AMC show Comic Book Men, but I don't want to sully anyone's impression of their podcast with that show. The podcast is infinitely better than that show!
The SModcasts with Kev, Bry and/or Walt are some of the hardest I've ever laughed, stories of when they were teenagers, embarassing shit, fucking girlfriends old bag mothers, etc. And TESD only continued it. Can't recommend them highly enough.
While the show is primarily hosted by Smith and Mosier, there have been several occasions when Mosier was unable to record, and his place was filled by one or more guests, though sometimes guests appear with Smith and Mosier.
Tell 'em Steve-Dave is absolutely hilarious. I started adding some TESD uploads to my channel since there was a lot of requests for podcasts to fill the hole left from no more O&A. Far and away my favorite podcast.
It's my favorite too. Walt Flanagan, Patrice O'Neal and George R.R. Martin are the three people on Earth who, just hearing their laugh, can make me happy on the worst days.

Opie can't do radio alone.
There will be tons of comics in.
