I've met him twice - Jeff Ross and him roasted me in the cellar it was fucking awesome! We have a mutual friend so next time I saw him we bullshitted for a while talked comedy talkrd a little about Ron and fez. I just bought tickets for Dave Attell at the L.A. Comedy Store in April. I would much rather just see him do stand up - like I did in Portland, Oregon last year. But I will take what I can get.

I've been to New York twice in my life. The last time I was in town, it was for my job. Due to work, I barely had any time to see the city.

Of all the places to go in New York City, I went to the Comedy Cellar, because I'd heard about it so much on Opie and Anthony. As I was walking up to The Cellar, I have my camera out. Cuz, y'know, I'm a tourist and I've only been to New York twice.

There's a dude smoking a cigarette out front, and just being generally shitty to me. I got the impression that he wasn't fond of tourists.

I buy tickets to the show, turns out the dude that talked to me was Dave Atell. (He was the headliner that night.)

I tried lurking in the back, because I was by myself, and he still made me the butt of a couple of jokes.

The whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth. (insert gay joke here.) I can understand that superfans are a pain in the ass. But I wasn't being a dick or anything; I was just really excited to see this place that I'd heard so much about all my life. (Have been listening to O&A for sixteen years now.)
