Jim: oh maybe he didn't realize I was trying to back him up, let's give that another shot "Exactly, I mean, how-"

Opie: "WHERE'S YOUR RADIO SHOW, SMART GUY!"

Jim: ok, he's just angry. let's interject some 'Rational Jim' he can really put things in perspective "The thing is, we-

Opie: I'm so sick of the FUHKIN HATERS WHO JUST DON'T GET IT!"

Jim: (resigned Jim) "Yeah, man...(sigh)...yeah"

Why is the transcribed show so damn good?

If this is what it's like, Jim's gonna snap. And it will be glorious, because those two deep down don't like or know each other. Nothing has been resolved or changed since the last time they fought on air.

I can't be bothered to download the show, to hear Jim's voice, to see if i can see how annoyed he is, but just know, he's gonna snap. It's inevitable.

I could hear that upwards inflection in Jimmy's "... yeah..." clear as day it's happened so many times.

If Ant was around, you'd have 15 minutes of Opie-kid talk, followed by Ant and Jimmy discussing robots in the military, Ant's drones, stuff going on in Japan, and future-Jimmy. This robot stuff could have gone off in a more interesting direction, but without Anthony, future-Jimmy doesn't exist.

The man is a retard. It comes with instructions on how to put it together. He simply couldn't do it so he blames Rich.

Opie is the worst kind of person to have as a father. Does anyone remember, as a child, how soul-crushingly disappointing it was when your parents couldn't work something out for you?

Events such as these, early in life, are crucial contributors to a child's respect for/faith in their elders. Opie's children will grow up to be Opie-haters and that, well... that's just fine.

Yeah I don't mind so much when he talks about his kid because at least it gives him something to talk about. Otherwise all he does is vaguely talk about movies/books he probably didn't consume and vague references to trips to Philly.

You gotta be kidding me. I know I was.

He really doesn't, compared to how often he used to talk about the kid. This is the first time in a while. And yeah, I prefer him speaking honestly about something he has experience with than pretending to have experience with it, or deferring to someone else to know what opinion to have.

I hope the listeners realise and have always realised that Rich Vos is smarter than Opie.
