I'll try and tune in, oh i'll try at least once a day.. but in less than 5 minutes there's just something irritating and you go, oh yeah.. that's why i couldn't handle listening to it anymore.

Let's start with why I quit.

1) the funny is rare.

2) opie is arrogant. Let's look up the definition of that, from the good ol urbandictionary.

When you hear opie talk, he thinks he's hot shit. He thinks he's "cool". The way he spends all his spare time researching entertainment news, he thinks he's "hip to the scene" like some sort of teenager. He seriously thinks he's like this awesome radio announcer, just because he's been doing it for 30 years. Yeah but you're a fuckin asshole the whole time.

One thing i gotta admit though, the other day he was reading something and he didn't fuck up.. He used to have a bit of a hard time with that but um, not sure how he's doing but i guess you learn a thing of two from doing it 30 years. So i'll give him that.. but the rest.. he's seriously a prick.

And then to try and make it look like he's not.. I happened to check his twitter on a rare occasion the other day and seen him do a bunch of pics with fans. That's him trying to make it look like he's "down to earth" and a "nice guy". Meanwhile, you know he's a fuckin prick. You just know he is. He thinks he's "hot shit" like some kind of celerb or something on the radio..

Let me put into perspective what he really is. Ok this morning i thought of checking out some other stations on xm. These fucking music stations should just be music but they try and throw in some dickhead radio announcer. Can you imagine trying to do that for a job where you have to think of absolutely meaningless "small talk" to try and fill time between songs? Yeah that's a radio announcer. And i was thinking about this guy i was listening to on one of the other stations.. i'm there.. this guy thinks he's like some kind of celeb or something. Meanwhile all he does is do small talk. There isn't talent like the musician's music he plays.. He's just small talk filler. There is no talent like the musician, yet he thinks of himself as someone important. At least like real dj's who spin records and make music with it, that's a bit more of a talent creating something. These radio announcers are also called DJ's but they have no creativity like the musicians.

Nobody respects a radio announcer in the entertainment industry. That's like when you watch an actor do interviews for a movie. It's like the schmucks interviewing him. The actor totally doesn't respect the interviewer. It's like some loser that they'll forget the minute they leave. That's what opie is, he's like one of those interviewers. But opie thinks he's like famous or something like one of the stars. He's at the bottom of the rung of famous people but he thinks he's hot shit. And he's frustrated about that, so he's an asshole behind the scenes because of it.

If sirius wants to save some money, the next round of cuts they need to just get rid of all those radio announcers at the music stations and just play fucking music. Those useless losers are completely annoying. And opie is one of them, except he just does a show where he talks about stuff. It's more like 4 hours with the type of filler they do in between songs.

I really just can't listen to it anymore because it honestly is morning zoo type shit with the pontificating. And jimmy is a big part of that. Enough already, just wasn't worth it to try and keep listening anymore. Was just putting me in a bad mood every morning.

TL;DR: Since Ant left, the show stinks. And with Ant gone, now you notice how much of a cunt Opie really is. lol
