haha, so it turns out that opie and the crack team at VIRAL SPIRAL took issue with the OPIE gangster part of the vid, and its them that put a copyright claim and country restriction of USA and Canada. Coincidentally, it happened around the time that opie was tweeted this vid....
I just re-watched your video, it's good. Where did you get the footage of the rollerblade guy used at the beginning of the clip? I ask because since you didn't use enough of Gangsta's Paradise to merit a copyright claim (and, if there is going to be a claim against you for using that song which places a region block on your video then certainly there should be a region block on Opie's video; right?), the only potential copyright claim would be the rollerblade guy footage.
That's VERY interesting. I'm curious if he specifically targeted your video or if it was done by automated software as I mentioned in a previous post. Yeah that's what skateboarders called rollerbladers back in the 90's. Rollerblading was so gay that former 80's rivals BMXers and skateboarders started getting along in mutual hatred of fruit booters.

The other possibility is that Greggshells is doing what Joe Rogan does-- Joe Rogan who is under contract with a web marketing company called Bent Pixels. which claims sole copyright ownership of Rogan’s voice and image. Bent Pixles uses automated software to determine which videos contained the image or voice of Joe Rogan, and then threatened legitimate content owners with community violations if the clips were not removed.
If Bent Pixles or a company with similar capabilities is being utilized we'd see a lot of clip's with Opie's voice receive copyright notices.
